At U15, development is about more than learning new skills — it’s about executing those skills faster, stronger and under pressure.

Vigier Hockey’s Spring U15 Development Program is designed for players who are ready to take another step in their game. Our training will focus on the details that become increasingly important at this age: skating efficiency and explosiveness, puck control at speed, shooting and scoring, passing, puck protection, positional awareness and making quicker decisions Players will be challenged to perform skills at **game pace** and in situations that force them to read the ice, react quickly and compete for time and space. Repetition, high-tempo drills and small-area games will help players become more comfortable making plays under pressure and applying their individual skills within a team environment.

Training Focus
– Explosive skating, acceleration and edge control
– Puck handling and passing at speed
– Shooting mechanics and scoring in traffic
– Puck protection and creating space
– Quick reads and decision-making
– Offensive and defensive awareness
– Compete level and battle situations
– Translating individual skills into game situations

Our goal is to help U15 players become faster, smarter and more confident hockey players while preparing them for the increased pace and expectations of their next level.

4-on-4 Development Games
We’ve added two 4-on-4 game days to give players an opportunity to put their training into action. The extra time and space of 4-on-4 hockey encourages creativity, puck possession, quick decisions and offensive instincts in a competitive game environment.
